More on Men: What's the Mystery?

Sara Goldrick-Rab, in a commentary piece in the Chronicle, cites research offering a number of alternative explanations for the increasing gap between men's and women's success in college. The clearest evidence, she says, points to female successful performance in college and academic preparation for college. Her argument sounds tautological--but maybe it's just me.
